Pro Baseball Academy was founded in 1994 by former 1981 New York Mets draftee and Professional Coach Steve DeMatties Coach_DeMatties_profile.doc The Pro Baseball Academy for the summer of 2011 is offering High School/College Elite Showcase Baseball Teams to compete at the amateur, college and Pro level. The Academy will be developing teams from 14U -18U. These baseball teams play in several tournaments of Major caliber throught the State of Florida and into Georgia, Alabama. The games are geared for exposure for the student/athlete. Showcase Elite Tournaments/League games are scheduled as our players will play over 40 games in a summer season. Individual Lessons are also offered and can be found in the services link. The skills that are covered at the Academy are geared towards making the player the best they can be. Fundamentals in all aspects of throwing, fielding, catching, batting, bunting, running bases, and pitching are covered in the lesson plans for the student /athlete.
