17 U Navy Highlights

Bryan Martinez: A catalyst at the top of the batting order all summer. Led off most games with a hit, walk, or hit by pitch. Most walks would turn into doubles, even triples. Tremendous athlete with unlimited potential. Not committed as of yet.

Jason Dodson: Most consistent pitcher all summer long. Strike thrower. Plus command of all three pitches. A real gamer. Jason won most of our opening tournament games. Jason's appearances would be considered quality starts. Deep into games. Low pitch counts. Always put us in position to win.

Andrew Scheinbaum: A class if 2015 player. After being inserted as the everyday Right Fielder. Andrew went on an amazing tear. Going 18 for his last 27. He led the Huskies in OBP, Avg/RISP, and Batting average.  A very solid outfielder who makes all the plays and has a plus arm.

Michael Gigliotti, 2014 at AMHSwas the leading hitter in every category for the Huskies while also manning CF with a Gold Glove.  Michael has committed to Lipscomb University in the Atlantic Sun Conference.

Christian Stampler, 2014 AMHS, led the infield defense with his stellar 3B play.  He was 2nd or 3rd in most hitting categories., including hits, Runs, RBI and On base average and Batting average.  Christian will make a decision on where to continue his baseball in college in the near future.

Alex Alfonso, 2014 AMHS, was the closer for the Huskies..appearing in close to 30 games with only 2 blown saves.  He led the team in ERA and presents a special problem for opposing hitters with his "down under" delivery.

The 2015 College Huskies were led offensively by John Baida from Port St Lucie, Nicko Rodriguez, Dylan Ebel, Brian Casiano and Dillon Popovich, 5 league leading HR's.
